Design for RE Interceptor Bear 650 leaked ahead of it’s release

Royal Enfield’s flagship scrambler Interceptor Bear 650’s design leaked from what is assumed to be a company’s presentation prior to it’s scheduled global debut in November 2024. The leak which seems to be a production spec rendering includes all the details and design of the RE’s brand new flagship scrambler.

Details:

The dubbed Interceptor Bear 650, which is a scrambler is based on the brands earlier Interceptor 650. The all new scrambler will have some specs common to the roadster Interceptor 650. The Scrambler design will provide more practicality to the vehicle.

Apart from the visible slim fuel tank, LED headlamp, tubular grab rail and circular instrument cluster which may or may not be a TFT, the new exhaust is much pronounced. Instead of the Interceptor 650 twin exhaust, the Interceptor Bear 650 will be equipped with two in one exhaust paired with the 6-Speed gearbox.

The scrambler is to have a oil/air cooled 648cc parallel twin engine, which will be delivering similar torque and power output as the roadster. Royal Enfield’s flagship may have switchable ABS similar to what it offers in Himalayan 450.

With all new stance and equipment meant for delivering the best experience, the expected price is going to be higher than the earlier 650cc designs by Royal Enfield i.e. Continental GT and Interceptor 650.

The RE’s all new Interceptor Bear 650 is set for it global debut at EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy.
